EDSM (Elite Dangerous Star Map) was at first a community effort to store and calculate systems coordinates around the Elite: Dangerous galaxy.
It is now the main API used by dozens of software and websites to find systems, coordinates, information (governement, allegiance, faction...) and celestial bodies (types, materials...).
EDSM has become a must-have for all respectable explorers, and commanders in the galaxy, with it you can:
- Track your exploration data
- Track your flight log
- Track your fleet
- Track your ranks
- Write your logbook
- Write comments and bookmark explored systems
- Search commodities in stations
- Search ships in stations
3.
This page will allow you to plot between two different star systems for your fleet carrier. The result will show you every system you need to route to. It will also let you know when you should gather more fuel. Time estimates are based on 20 minutes per jump and yielding 150 tonnes of tritium per hour mining for a single player.

This website is not an official tool for the game Elite: Dangerous and is not affiliated with Frontier Developments.

Tools for mining
Rares
List of stations that offer rare commodities for saleDistances
Tool for calculating distances between multiple systems, each to each, with results in a matrix tableSphere
Information about all populated systems in a sphere with specified radius around a specified systemList Tool
Find out distances from one system to a set of systems, you can enter your own or use one of the pre-defined lists. You can also plot a route to visit all systems in the listRoad To Riches
A list of systems with high-value planets for scanning (Earth-likes, Terraformable Water Worlds and High-Metal Content planets)Massacre
A tool for finding good sources of PVE "Massacre pirates" missions. See this for explanationMiner's Tool
Suitable mining locations (for some minerals) and stations that currently offer high pricesHotspots
List of known hotspots for different minerals around populated areas (Bubble, Pleiades, Colonia)Mining Missions
List of stations likely to produce mining missions, by distance from reference system. These stations don't have 'Extraction' or 'Refinery' as one of the economies.Multiple minerals prices
A tool to find stations close to your location with good prices for more than one mineral. See this for explanationList tool (again)
Namely, some pre-defined lists useful for mining:
Double Platinum Hotspots
Double Painite Hotspots
Triple LTD hotspots
Bromellite overlaps
Hotspots and RES combinations
Platinum hotspots with high yield
Platinum hotspots and RES combinations
Please note that Selenium tool, while still exists, is obsolete in Odyssey. Go here instead, then visit the List tool for locations of Brain Trees.
The RES search tool, while also still exists, is no longer maintained or supported. You can find the list of Compromized Nav Beacons on Inara website here.
